MARINE PATROL

The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office Marine Patrol Unit falls under the command of the Special Enforcement Division - under the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office Law Enforcement Bureau. Marine Patrol deputies are cross trained on patrolling bodies of water such as Lake Lanier, in addition to their full time duties in other areas of the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office. They work throughout the summer months to ensure boaters & other citizens/visitors are safe, and are following rules & state laws while on the water.
